Customized Moulds & Tooling
ZhongyunTech not only manfactures moulds and toolings for our own corrugated pipe extrusion lines, but also supplies die head and mould blocks to other corrugated pipe machines (such as corrugators made by European or North American companies), and achieve excellent result.
Mould Blocks
- Made of special aluminum alloy, providing high stiffness and high thermal conductivity;
- Mould blocks are compatible to different models of pipe corrugators, providing great flexibility of pipe production;
- Quick and easy mould block changing by simply loosening and tightening one screw, efficiently shortening the downtime and increasing the production efficiency;
- Direct mould block water cooling, pressurized cooling water is circulated in a closed circuit to guarantee high cooling efficiency;
- Large flow rate design of vacuum channel and water passage ensures the high efficiency and stability of machine operation;
- Constructed through casting process, enabling the stiffness higher;
Extrusion Die Head
- Independent structure design of die head allows it to be removed integrally with mandrel from the extrusion line, with no need to dismantle the die head; The design aims at achieving faster and easier changeover while avoiding the frequent dismantling of die head parts which can affect the precision of the die head, thus efficiently prolonging its service life;
- Spiral channels, the flow channels where the polymer melt passes through, are designed to reduce the length of die head so that the polymer flow resistance can be significantly smaller, resulting in an improved plasticizing effect;
- The supporting part of die head is connected with the base of pipe corrugator, therefore additional adjustment is not required when mould changing, allowing for faster changeover and shortened downtime;
Calibration Mandrel
- Innovative design of longer length coupled with multi-inlet cooling channels optimizes the cooling efficiency of mandrel;
- Vacuum is operated and can be vary depending on the pipe's dimensional specification to get premium pipe quality;
